Giving to the educational community
Our business depends on the loyalty of our customers, primarily students who need support with their studies. As we continue to receive that loyalty, it is our belief that we have a duty to give something back - to support the education and future of those studying in both our country and around the world. Working with focused charitable organisations allows us the opportunity to do this.
Giving to the environment
As a business, we consume resources, and we therefore strongly believe that we should support the environment that gives us those resources. Through carbon offsetting and environmental projects, we can give back to the environment the support it gives us to make our operation possible.
Supporting entrepreneurship
We have acquired a great deal of knowledge from many great minds since our business began. We have a duty to pass this knowledge and to help others who may be starting out and in need of a 'break' - especially those less fortunate than ourselves. Through Kiva and other charity projects, we can offer the same level of support to businesses and organisations throughout the world that we have enjoyed ourselves.

Volunteering in the community
To support our local community, All Answers volunteered with Betel to support their local services, by helping to distribute leaflets to the local area to promote their services.
Betel of Britain is a caring, not-for-profit Christian community in the heart of the UK dedicated to restoring homeless and substance-dependent people to productive, independent lifestyles. Their residences are drug and alcohol-free, and all their residencies are totally free of charge. They offer the opportunity of restoration to all persons who seek their help.

All Answers will be working with the charity in the forthcoming year to help improve the marketing side of the business so watch this space!

All Answers shares processor power to make a difference!
The All Answers team have started contributing to the “progress thru processors” initiative. Developed by Intel, the scheme saw the plight of researchers – who often have limited processor power to handle complex calculations, which are in short supply. The scheme was developed to power research efforts including: Rosetta@home, Climateprediction.net and Africa@home. All Answers is now helping to provide additional processor power needed to help these well deserved causes.
The scheme is only available as a Facebook application. To find out more click here, or download “progress thru processors” to your Facebook now…

Thailand adventure - back in the UK
Wow, what can I say? Thailand was amazing and I had such an amazing experience throughout. Of course the best moment was working in the school, teaching English to the students and teaching kindergarten to grade 6; it was a full-on experience but a thoroughly enjoyable one, which I would recommend to anyone.
From working in the school, to trekking through the jungle and hopping across the islands, I had an amazing time. I would recommend volunteering to anyone who wants to experience the sights in a new and exciting country whilst giving something back to the community.
You can read my full blog at http://www.allanswers.co.uk/about/thailand-blog.php to find out more about my Thailand adventure :)

Thailand blog
During November, All Answers will be supporting education in Thailand at the state Wat Hu School located in Chumphon, sponsoring a member of our Marketing team – Nick – who will be volunteering for two weeks at the school from the 5th November. The school caters for both nursery and primary school children and calls out for volunteers to help teach their pupils English to improve their prospects in the future.
All Answers have decided to support education in Thailand, due to the fact that many families are struggling with poverty and consider education to be a luxury. In Thailand, both primary and secondary education is free. Despite this fact, thousands of children don’t complete their education due to the need to work for their family and boost their income.
All Answers wants to change this and support the school to help children to complete their education.
You can follow Nick’s blog by clicking here to read about his Thailand adventures.

Race results - Robin Hood Marathon Update
Everyone had a great time at the Nottingham Robin Hood Marathon on the 13th September. All of our team finished with respectable times, and special mention should go to Daniel D in Customer Service, who set a new overall and men's AA half marathon record - 01:55:53! For the women, Karina completed the half marathon in a record 1:57:07!
The marathon was a great challenge and a superb day for all who took part. Many of us are now hooked and we've already got a team attending the Worksop half marathon next month. Well done everyone!

Brewing up for the nation's biggest coffee morning!
On Friday 25th September, thousands of kettles boiled in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support and we joined in!! All staff members supported and raised cash for the charity as part of the annual World's biggest Coffee morning. Donations were given for tea, coffee and fantastic homemade cakes brought in by staff. To raise further money for the charity we also held a 'Go Green Day', where all who took part were encouraged to wear something green from their own wardrobe. In total we raised £85.62. Let's hope every penny we collected makes a difference to people living with Cancer and we look forward to next year!

Comic Relief Total Announced
You'll remember that All Answers donated over £1,200 to Comic Relief in April, after pledging a pound for every visitor that signed up to our mailing list. We were delighted to hear from Lenny Henry today that the total money raised for Comic Relief was a staggering £80,000,000 - that's right, eighty million!
Lenny says "That's money which will help give children in the world's poorest countries the education they deserve - money that will allow a mother and her baby to sleep under a mosquito net, safe from the deadly threat of Malaria, money that will help feed a child who has lost their parents to Aids".
We can't wait for Sports Relief which is coming up in March 2010 - another chance to do something that makes a real difference whilst having fun!

All Answers is working with Kiva
All Answers has joined forces with Kiva, a non-profit organisation that connects people through lending for the sake of alleviating poverty.
Kiva is the world's first person-to-person micro-lending website, empowering individuals to lend directly to unique entrepreneurs in the developing world.
The people you see on the Kiva website are real individuals who need our help with funding their projects. When we loan to these people, we are helping a real person take a huge step towards economic independence and improve life for themselves, their family, and their community. Throughout the course of the loan (usually 6-12 months), Kiva sends email journal updates and tracks repayments. At the end of the loan when the money is repaid, we can choose to withdraw it or more likely, we can lend it to someone else.
As a lending team for Kiva, our mission is to help people further their education and skills in order to improve their standard of living and give themselves a better future. The projects we select are focused on this goal.
You are welcome to join our team and help us achieve this goal - no invitation is necessary.

All Answers now proudly employs carbon offsetting through CarbonZero. CarbonZero works by investing funds in projects that absorb or prevent the release of a tonnage of CO2 (carbon dioxide) equivalent to our Carbon Footprint.
In doing so we are supporting co2balance's African Energy Efficiency Projects.
